The Somers School District was awarded a $275k grant to install a 50kW photovoltaic (PV) system on the Town’s high school. In addition to saving the school system  $10,000 annually in reduced electricity costs, we will also be substantially lowering our carbon footprint by over 100,000 lbs of CO2 emissions or the equivalent of 6,600 mature maple trees!
